HISTORY
Avitec was born in 1957, when its promoter Pasquale Bortolami (in the center of the image), who at the time was the managing director  of an incubator near Padova (Italy), foresaw that the then starting aviculture market would expand and made the first contacts with Holland, the country that was and is still leading in that market.

Since the beginning, the activity of being sole agent of the best firms brought to Italy the highest quality and world-wide renowned brands and products.

The first firm to be represented was the Dutch Econoom with its dark and strong wood incubators. Then Avitec started to sell the first manual egg and chicken grading machines produced by Moba - Holland.
In the following years Avitec became sole agent for selling poultry processing plants, egg conveyor systems and the well-known Seymour-USA egg breaking machines.

When the two sons, Franco and Ezio Bortolami began to work with their father, Avitec started in designing and building its own liquid-egg processing machines such as filters, centrifuges, and finally, pasteurisation plants and automation robots for modern packing stations.

The experience of many years, the close contact with the needs of its customers all over-the-world, the great passion for improvements and new challenges, make it possible for Avitec to keep on investing in new researches, tests and prototypes with the aim of making the everyday work of producing and selling shell and liquid egg, an easier, safe and profitable job.
In Italy Avitec is exclusive agent for Holland, world leader in electronic egg grading machines. Other than supplying the egg grader, Avitec guarantees the best advice and consulting when to start a new egg grading station or when updating and optimizing an existing one.
AVITEC MOTION product line assure to achieve the best performances and labour savings in the modern egg packing station because all the main functions are processed by automatic machines like pack printers, wrap-around, case formers, case packers, case closers, traceability systems, etc...
LINO COMPACT product line provides the most compact, simple and reliable pasteurization plants, complete with all the needed machines from loading, to breaking, till final filling. Avitec EasyLife Egg, is an extra cutting-edge technology system which can assure long shelf life for the natural liquid egg pasteurized at low temperature and without any additive.
With the SEALPACK project we help the leading packing station to introduce a revolutionary concept into the market: a sealed, see-through PET egg pack which cannot be opened without breaking the safety seal. The project includes all the related automatic machinery to process the new pack.
In Italy Avitec is exclusive agent for - Germany, the world leader, top quality brand for layer cages, rearing systems, alternative nest systems and further processing equipment for manure.
