OVOTRACK
beyond traceability


Ovotrack solution cannot simply be called "traceability software". In fact it is a complete production management system which had as a first target "to make egg tracking and tracing" a simple and automatic job.

Ovotrack is developed by Beekhuis Computer Solutions and is being distributed in Italy by Avitec Srl.

The plus of Ovotrack are many:
  • The company founders did create for the first time a traceability system for their own packing station, which means that inside the software functions there is a full knowledge of the particular and complicated job of egg grading and packing;
  • The system became a very flexible solution made up of different moduls which can be furtherly customized for the specific needs of each single packing station, indeed who is in the sector knows how specific and out-of-standard is the work in each packing station;
  • The system is fully integrated with the most important egg grading machines; in particular, when it is integrated with a MOBA Omnia grader, it provides detailed tracing till the single small egg pack;
  • The project engineer which will take care for the implementation of Ovotrack into the packing station is not only an Ovotrack technician, is, more above all, a supervisor assuring the perfect integration between the traceability system, the accounting system and the grader.

Briefly the main tasks which are controlled by Ovotrack are:















1 label each ungraded egg container with unique IP number and automatically scan this number prior to load the eggs on the egg grader to inform the system about which egg are being graded;






2 Identify each egg case filled by the people in front of the lanes by printing an ECP label which contains all the information about the origin of the eggs;





3 Print and automatically apply an ECP number in case the box is filled with egg packs automatically by a robot asuch as Avitec Flexipack;





4 In case the sale order was not ready at the moment of grading, scan the ECP labels to connect all the information wih a destination (name of customer and n. of order);





5 print a standard SSCC label to identify each single pallet shipped to the distribution center.
